Exceptional vintage French steel beaded purse
in meticulous
original condition. The purse body is 5-1/4" long by 4-1/4" wide,
with the beaded fringe adding another 2-1/2" at the bottom. Nice
brass frame with a pattern of repeating leaves ... flawless peach
colored
silk lining ... and a 13" chain handle. Bead colors are gold
(non-magnetic),
ivory and silver (magnetic). This is a hefty, well-made purse in
excellent condition.

Absolutely gorgeous turn-of-the-century
vintage reticule
purse, about 8" across by 10" long, not including the 2" beaded ball
and
tassel. The purse is so finely beaded, it has a very soft,
full and luxurious feel to it. The wine colored lining appears to
be original, as does the crocheted top and forest green cord
handle.
Bead colors include forest green, deep luminous red, gold, orange,
blue,
pink and black. Excellent condition.

What fun! 8" x 5-1/2" beaded bag with
alternating
rows of black and white beads, with a looped fringe all around the
outer
edge and a sassy 2-1/4" white tassel. Black fabric lining, and
sturdy
crocheted drawstring. Excellent condition.

| SPECTACULAR VICTORIAN BEADED BAG | |||

Absolutely wonderful 6" x 4" beaded bag with a
silver
filigree top & ball clasp and a 14" chain handle. When I
bought
the purse there were a couple of areas where the beads were loose and
the
threads were worn so I sent it to a professional beader to restore the
damaged areas. She did a spectacular job - completely reinforcing
the original lining and re-attaching the beads with new thread ...
restoring
it beautifully to near perfect condition. The body of the purse
is
primarily teal blue and black, embellished with green and red beaded
flowers.

| FABULOUS BEADED BAG WITH ORNATE CELLULOID FRAME | |||

This is a gorgeous beaded purse done primarily
in shades
of navy blue with denim blue, green and red accents and a beaded center
with flowers, buds and leaves in pink, rose, red, yellow and two shades
of green. The pattern is duplicated almost exactly on the back --
the only difference is the rosette cluster of navy beads near the
center
of the frame (this may have been a later repair, I'm really not certain
as the beads are a perfect match). The front side of the arched
celluloid
frame features an ornately carved and painted floral motif.
Overall
size of the bag is 8" x 6-1/2" -- not including the two beaded dangles,
which are 2-1/2" long. Restorations: When I
found
the purse it was missing its 'plunger' clasp and handle. I made a
new plunger by drilling and darkening a pear-shaped filigree bead ...
and
it works like a charm! For the handle, I used a 36" length of
black
chain, looped through the rings on each side of the frame so it can be
carried in your hand or worn over your shoulder. Interior has the
original ivory satin-type lining. The bag is in excellent
restored
condition, with little or no apparent bead loss (please click on the

above for more detailed views). My price has been reduced
to
reflects the newly added plunger and chain.

Very chic black velvet vintage purse,
approximately
7" x 7" and embellished with large Aurora Borealis (acrylic) flatbacks
and golden seed beads. The pattern is identical on both
sides.
Pearly lucite strips sit atop the frame, and the clasp segments are
both
set with large clear rhinestones. Slinky snake-chain handle is
13"
long. The bag is lined with a black satiny fabric and there is
one
small inside pocket. Excellent, almost unused condition inside
&
out. There is a designer label inside but it has been sewn in
such
a way that it's impossible to read.

Super chic, authentic Miu Miu hobo style
handbag of
soft, buttery leather in sleek black with silver studs along both side
panels and strap. Zipper closure on the bag and the roomy
interior
pocket. Durable fabric lining - looks like it might be
waterproof.
Embossed ‘Miu Miu’ logo on the leather, plus a Miu Miu Made in Italy
tag
inside. Exquisite bag in like new condition. Overall
size:
11" x 12" x 4" with a 2-1/4" x 24" strap.
